sith_happened: (Anakin: doofy smile)
Anakin was in a surprisingly good mood as he wandered around his office.

Once Rory had convinced him to see the humor of the situation, it was ridiculous to think that she'd ever cheat on him. Especially with Jess. Not that it meant he was going to like the kid.

Ever.

The multiple dunkings into the pond last night--and getting shot by John Winchester--well...that might take a little longer to get over.

And the wedding with John and Jaina? Hmmm.

Anakin began writing up a list of people to talk to--smiting totally optional, look how reasonable he was!--and made sure the door was propped open.
sith_happened: (Anakin: from behind)
Anakin had a bad feeling about today. He kept putting his hand on the back of his neck to rub at the hair there, certain he was being watched.

He hoped that the feeling had nothing to do with the news he had to share with Jaina, Ben, and Luke. He left oh so handwavy messages for them, then stared at his comlink, trying to figure out exactly how to tell Luke he was going to be a big brother.
sith_happened: (Anakin: bright eyes)
After a long few hours in the flight simulator (where he hadn't killed John Sheppard (yet)), Anakin put Juliet down for a nap and smiled down at the solemn little boy who had accompanied them home.

"Should we call your mother?" he suggested.

So I Thought - Flyleaf
sith_happened: (Anakin: making an entrance)
Anakin was in his office, working on his final exam questions and studying Italian.

Well, food and curse words. A man has to have his priorities.

The door was open.
sith_happened: (Anakin: woe)
Not that teaching a bunch of tiny people to fly hadn't been a blast--and it had, he hadn't smiled that much in a long time--but now things were as normal as they could be when he'd almost been hit with falling pastry walking to work.

Which was why he pretended to be very busy on his computer and not at all concerned about whether a certain granddaughter would be visiting today.
sith_happened: (Anakin: looking down)
Anakin was staring at websites with honeymoon locations listed because he knew better than to touch anything wedding-related without Rory's permission.

Well, except for one thing, but he'd left a message to get that started.

Soft Nubian music was playing--it had stopped raising his hackles--and the door was open.

Noah's Dove - 10,000 Maniacs
sith_happened: (Anakin: crying is not a good look)
Anakin had held it together for as long as he could, but some meetings were just going to leave a mark.

And not being able to get in touch with Jaina or Luke today wasn't exactly helping. He left a message for Rory trying to explain why he'd missed his flight, then curled into a miserable ball on his bed.

[OOC: Establishy!]

Anakin's Betrayal - John Williams
sith_happened: (Anakin: bright eyes)
Anakin was pretty sure he was the first one awake, given the lack of coffee smells coming from the kitchen (which he fixed immediately, being a good kiss-up houseguest), so he made sure that the gifts he brought with him were stacked under the tree before pouring himself a cup of coffee, stared out the window at the snow, and waiting for the rest of the house to start stirring.

[OOC: For great SP justice!]
sith_happened: (Default)
After a very strange encounter with Qui-Gon last night, and an even more bizarre radio last night, Anakin decided to hold his office hours a day early.

Curiosity could be a terrible thing.

He sat cross-legged on the floor in meditation, the door cracked open.

[OOC: Open for anyone looking to scare the Jedi and for great SP justice for the providers of the paycheck require me to do that work thing there.]

Breakdown - Chris Daughtry
sith_happened: (Vader & Anakin)
Of course he felt when it happened.

He also felt Luke's moment of blind panic before he was located in the Force. Anakin would have rolled his eyes if it hadn't felt like too much effort. He wasn't planning on going anywhere...he'd just take a nap. Under all of these blankets.

Hot.

Enclosed.

Helpless.

Was it any wonder he had nightmares? )

And the barriers around Anakin's mind that he guarded with such intensity were just not working right now; his body had more important things to worry about.

So those images, that feeling of hopeless claustrophobia, spilled out towards those who would be able to pick it up...

Anakin would regret that later. Now he was too busy sitting up in bed, clapping his hands over his mouth to hold in a scream.
sith_happened: (Anakin: from behind)
The dull pounding ache in Anakin's head had bloomed into a full-on piercing nightmare of a headache sometime around 3 am, when all truly rotten things happen.

And Jedi don't get fevers.

Which was why Anakin was sitting cross-legged in the center of his office, delving deeply into the Force to get both symptoms to go away. It wasn't working nearly as well as it should have, and the amount of energy he was using was practically a beacon to the other Jedi on the island.

The door was cracked open.
sith_happened: (Anakin: grin)
Anakin--who knew he was Anakin, which apparently made him a minority on the island tonight--was so very glad he hadn't been drinking anything when he'd been listening to the night's radio.

After he finished laughing until he couldn't breathe, he reached for his comlink and dialed a number.
sith_happened: (Anakin: making an entrance)
Anakin was in his office forming glitter solar systems.

It only looked like he was bored.

He'd tell you he was practicing Very Important Jedi Things.

He'd be full of it.

What If - Coldplay
sith_happened: (Anakin: I feel lost)
It had taken a couple of towels and a half-hour in a healing trance, but the back of Anakin's hand was scar-free. If their little arrangement stopped That Woman from touching another student, it was a deal at twice the price.

He flipped his comlink on and tried to reach Luke again.

As it had for the last dozen tries, the call remained unanswered, and Luke's sense in the Force was still absolutely furious at him.

Not that he could blame the boy.

Anakin reached for the remote and settled in for a long night at home.

[OOC: Mostly establishy, but if there are roomies around to say hello, go for it.]
sith_happened: (Anakin: woe)
Anakin decided that when Luke hadn't contacted him on Sunday for his birthday dinner that Rory had told him everything.

The wall of I'm Fine, Really that Luke was throwing up through the Force was almost as painful as Rory's numbness.

But Anakin was a teacher, dammit, and his personal issues were just that.

So if anyone was looking to stop by the door was open as Anakin stared at a beautiful jewel of a planet as it hovered in the middle of his office.

[ooc: open, though I work all day so sp is love.]
sith_happened: (Anakin: b&w intense)
Anakin was in his office before workshops began, sipping coffee and staring into space.

Literally.

He'd gotten his miniature version of his galaxy up and running again.

If he seemed to be spending a great deal of time staring at a small volcanic planet, then at the calendar on his desk, well, he wasn't going to explain himself.
sith_happened: (Anakin: wistful staring)
Well, his date with Rory had been called on account of dinosaurs, you know, as it so often was, and Anakin'd had to go kill a T-Rex (he'd looked it up when he'd gotten home, just so he could brag about it tell people later) who'd been silly enough to try to mess with his family.

Now he was humming happily to himself as he washed the shuttle down. It had been far too long since he'd gotten to really cut loose like that.

[ooc: WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THESE TWO. Not so much with the worksafeness now.]
sith_happened: (Anakin: with Luke)
Anakin’s comlink went off entirely too early in the morning.

Fumbling around with his head still under the pillow, he finally found the device and mumbled a muzzy “Hello?” into the receiver.

“Good morning, Father,” Luke chirped.  )

[OOC: Played with...well, myself, while at work. I am so sneeeeeky zomg.]
Bent - Matchbox Twenty
sith_happened: (Anakin: with Luke)
Anakin didn't really understand when Luke had called him earlier in the day.

He didn't understand even after the entire "Fathers' Day" thing was explained to him.

But he was waiting in a clearing in the preserve as requested to spend time with his son.

...which he still didn't understand.
sith_happened: (Anakin: woe)
It wasn't that Anakin was hiding from anyone so much as he hadn't gone back to the house since class yesterday.

Folded up in his robe and staring out at the ocean, he concentrated on breathing and just getting through one of the worst days on the calendar for him.

Which meant that he wouldn't notice anyone coming up behind him, poor bastard.

[OOC: Locked for Skywalker Family Drama. Conversation topic NFB, who was there, as always, open for the squirrels.]
