Anakin was tired, and cranky, and a little bit electrocuted.

But if Luke could whine his way out of the clinic after getting a wall dropped on him, Anakin certainly wasn't going to miss out on going to Connecticut just because he was a little bit tired.

Or clearly insane.

Either one.

He knocked gently on Rory's door.

He gasped. "More like that," he said, nipping at her lower lip.

Rory pushed her hips into his, rocking. "Like this?"

Anakin let out a moan and flicked his thumb a little harder. "Yes."

Rory groaned and smiled wickedly. "You like this?" she asked softly, grinding her hips against his.

Anakin got a little louder. "Yes," he said, nipping at her neck.

"Are you sure?" she murmured, flexing.

He got a lot louder. "Rory. Close. Close close close."

She only had one choice, really.

She did it again.

A couple times.

Anakin saw stars.

He couldn't have stopped the little keening noise he was making even if he'd known he was doing it.

She pressed her face into his neck, kissing and soothing. "Hi."

Anakin finally remembered that breathing was good. "You're going to be the death of me," he murmured, moving his thumb in a slow circle.

"I'll certainly try," she promised, shivering.

"I adore you," he whispered in her ear, moving his fingers faster.

"Stop," she murmured, sliding her hand down to his. "Enjoy your afterglow."

"This is enjoying," Anakin insisted, kissing her. "I have a Rory up against a wall. There is no bad."

"But you should be lying down," she replied, biting his lip.

"Will I still have a Rory to play with?" he asked, kissing her throat.

"Of course. And your legs won't be wobbly," she murmured.

"My legs aren't that wobbly," he insisted.

Rory arched a brow.

"Okay, so it's been a long day, but I'm not going to drop you," he said, nudging his nose against hers.

"Lying down won't hurt you," she replied evenly, kissing his lower lip.

Anakin let her down, but didn't let her go far. "This isn't because I'm old, though," he said hastily.

"Of course not," she said, kissing his chin. "But we can, you know, lose the rest of our clothes and snuggle, too."

"And start running through that list of thoughts you had on Monday and Tuesday," he murmured, linking his fingers through hers and heading towards the bedroom.
