Anakin was tired, and cranky, and a little bit electrocuted.

But if Luke could whine his way out of the clinic after getting a wall dropped on him, Anakin certainly wasn't going to miss out on going to Connecticut just because he was a little bit tired.

Or clearly insane.

Either one.

He knocked gently on Rory's door.

"He heard some fascinating ideas earlier in the week," he whispered in her ear. "Which one sounded nicest?"

"Mmmm. Bath?" Rory suggested, squirming under him.

Anakin smiled down at her. "He might have a thing for water..."

"I might have a thing for him," she admitted.

Anakin leaned in for a kiss. "I adore you."

"It's very mutual," Rory murmured, sliding her tongue along his lower lip.

He shivered and shifted a little closer. "So...bath time? I do love wet and naked Rories."

"What a coincidence. I like wet and naked Anakins."

Anakin grinned at her, then rolled over and held out a hand. "What are we doing in here, then?"

"Oh, I thought you were going to run it for me and let me lie here all languid and cute," Rory said, taking his hand.

Anakin chewed on his lower lip. "I could do that," he said, "but I won't put in the girly smelling stuff."

Rory frowned. "But it smells nice."

Anakin was such a soft touch when it came to her. "Okay, I'll put it in," he said, leaning in again. "But if you don't come with me, we can't have sex on the counter while we're waiting for the tub to fill up."

"You're getting spoiled, with all the counter sex and wall sex and dirty text messages," Rory tsked, smiling as she sat up.

Anakin kissed her. "I don't recall being the only person involved in any of those things," he murmured, running his finger across her cheekbone.

"Maybe," she murmured, kissing him again. "Or maybe I just indulge your whims."

Anakin's eyes flew open. "Do you not like them?" he checked, suddenly nervous.

"You're a dork. Carry me into the bathroom so I can sit on the counter," Rory said bossily.

Anakin stole another kiss and did as she demanded, closing the bathroom door firmly behind them before putting her down.

"Now what?" he asked, all innocence.

Someone really liked bossy Rory.

"Now start the water," she said, nodding to the tub. "With the fizzy, nice-smelling stuff."

"Yes ma'am," Anakin murmured, starting the water.

And adding the fizzy stuff, yes.

He walked back over and leaned against the counter. "Seems we have some time on our hands."

"Hmm. Whatever shall we do?" she wondered, tilting her head thoughtfully.

Anakin kissed the side of her neck. "I could go get the Post-Its," he murmured. "Maybe you could give me hints."

Rory reached a leg out to pull him close. "We could do that. But actions speak louder than words, right?"

Anakin hummed in her ear. "Especially if we're doing it right," he said, giving her a mischievous look.
