Anakin was in his office as usual today, glaring angrily at the Christmas themed ads as they popped up on his computer screen.

"Can't I get through Thanksgiving first?" he complained aloud.

The door was open.

Jaina stopped in for a visit after class was over, and stopped short at the door. "I'm afraid to ask what you're talking about," she said warily.

"Christmas ads," Anakin said, making a face. "Apparently my relationships will be jeopardized if I don't buy all of my loved ones Snuggies. I'm inclined to believe exactly the opposite."

Jaina couldn't help but feel a little pang as she went to sit. "I got one of those for John one year," she said. "I advise against the Snuggies."

"Rory has one from when she was pregnant and bought all kinds of things at three in the morning," Anakin replied. "I draw the line at buying one for the dog."

Jaina frowned. "For dogs- Nevermind, this planet is weird." Which she knew already.

Raven was absolutely fine. Really. Her shields were still fragile and strained, but she didn't feel as exposed as she had been since Kaeleer.

And, it being Tuesday morning, her first stop of the day was Anakin's office. And she most certainly didn't hesitate outside the door at all because she was fine.

"Come in, Raven," Anakin called.

"Good morning, Professor Skywalker," Raven said as she stepped inside. "I apologize for not being able to give you more information about what was happening with Karla before we left. I hope I did not cause you any worry."

"No more than the usual amount," Anakin said with a tiny smile. "Sit down and tell me what happened."

After her workout and before class, Kennedy had a stop to make. She wasn't exactly looking forward to it, and making excuses to authority figures for things they might disapprove of wasn't high on her priorities, but Anakin was on the short list of teachers she definitely didn't want to piss off, so. Visiting time.

"Hey," she said from the doorway, a little less nonchalant than normal.

...not more formal than usual, though.

Anakin glanced up from his computer. "Kennedy," he said evenly. "I received your message. Would you like to come in?"

Well. 'Like' might not be the most accurate word, but Kennedy nodded once and stepped inside. "Sorta thought I should at least follow up about the whole skipping-class thing last week," she said, going to stand beside a chair, though she wasn't making a move to sit down.

"Raven mentioned you were with her on a rescue mission for Karla," Anakin replied, nodding. "The chair doesn't bite," he added.

Cassidy was not as full of cheerfulness or bounciness as she usually was when she knocked lightly on Anakin's door. Even after a few days of quiet in her room where she was fussed over by her worried Healer, Cassidy still wasn't able to let go and purge everything that had happened in Agio from her mind.

"It's open," Anakin replied, glancing up from his email.

Cassidy gave him a faint smile when she came in. "Good afternoon, Professor Skywalker."

"So you went with Karla too," he said, cutting to the chase.

"Hello," Katniss said, peeking in the doorway. She'd been putting off this visit, partially because talking about home -- and her impending trip back -- wasn't welcome, and partially because she'd been very busy ignoring things like Peeta and Haymitch's visit.

"Katniss," Anakin said with a small smile. "Come in."

She carefully stepped into the room, hands in her pockets. "I meant to come by sooner," she admitted. "Haymitch mentioned you spoke."

Anakin tried to stop himself from making a face--it wasn't professional--so his jaw only clenched slightly. "We need. I'm not wildly fond of your adviser."

Jono... did not miss classes often, and, while he wasn't exactly expecting to be accepted to Empire State University after his graduation here or anything, he really did tend to take his studies seriously. Which was why he was swinging by Anakin's office after Cigar class, so that he could ask what on earth he'd missed last Thursday.

His 'I have to keep busy or else I'll lose my mind' attitude lately had probably helped him to reach that decision, yes.

Anakin glanced up. "I'm wondering if I should have a checklist of everyone who visited Karla in Kaeleer," he said a little wryly. "I think I've seen half of them today. Come in."

Jono actually had the good grace to scuff his toe awkwardly against the floor before stepping into Anakin's office.

Because burying yourself in catch-up work was fun and therapeutic! Totally!
