The dull pounding ache in Anakin's head had bloomed into a full-on piercing nightmare of a headache sometime around 3 am, when all truly rotten things happen.

And Jedi don't get fevers.

Which was why Anakin was sitting cross-legged in the center of his office, delving deeply into the Force to get both symptoms to go away. It wasn't working nearly as well as it should have, and the amount of energy he was using was practically a beacon to the other Jedi on the island.

The door was cracked open.

Anakin closed his eyes, supremely unconcerned. "Because it would really irk you to shoot down the hallway on your rear after I've spanked you like a petulant child, then given you detention for the next month. And before you bluster, yes, I absolutely would. Don't test me, boy. I'm not in the mood."

"Oh, what a unique and perfect grain of sand you are," Anakin deadpanned. "I am overwhelmed by your witty banter."

His voice turned icy. "Out. Now."

Which would be when Seely went to throw a punch at him.

"Force but you don't learn," Anakin breathed, holding out his hand and levitating with permission omg Seely a foot of the floor before using a solid wall of air to whap him soundly on the backside and toss him into the hallway.

The door to Anakin's office shut and locked behind him.

Seely glared at Anakin's door for a moment rubbing his bruised dignity, before turning and stomping off down the hallway.
