Anakin was sitting at his desk with an icepack over his eyes; Ben had gotten in a good hit today and while it was easier to use the Force to heal it up, Anakin was using this as a reminder to himself that his grandson was starting to be seriously good with a lightsaber. Besides, it was hot as Tatooine outside--the ice felt good.

The door was open, though not for much longer if Drake didn't quit it with the ABBA concert down the hall.

"Well, I would've helped him out anyway," Drake said, vanishing the parchment. "Especially because it's for loooooooooove."

Anakin wrinkled up his nose. "Bel already has a boy and a girl. How much more, um, looooooove, does he need?"

He wasn't sure he really wanted to know the answer to this.

"Not your Bel, my Bel," Drake said. "The ghost -- didn't you meet him at Parent's Weekend? He never went to Fandom like your Bel so he didn't have his life turn out quite the same way. Or unlife, as it were. I'm telling you though, he's getting around pretty good for someone who's supposed to be dead. Frankly, I think he's faking it."

"That would be like Bel," Anakin decided uncharitably. "Maybe you could ask for pointers on being dead but still around. My old teacher does the same thing."

"Does he rattle chains and try to show you Christmas past?" Drake wondered. "Or just show up to say hey?"

[sith_happened]

"A little of both," Anakin said with a snort. "Minus the chains. He does like to show up and remind me of what I've done wrong."

"Oh, that's so annoying when they do that," Drake said sympathetically. "You're dead, get over it!"

[sith_happened]

"Oh, he's got forever to tell me things I could have done better," Anakin said, rolling his eyes. "He's helping my son, at least."

Because seeing dead people was hereditary.
