Anakin was in a fantastic mood today. Rory and Juliet had come onto the island with him, and it had been far too long since he'd had the chance to have a lunch date with his wife.

She was currently grabbing coffee at the Perk, leaving Anakin to have an animated--and one-sided--conversation with his daughter as she sat in his lap.

"And the toes are connected to the foot, which is connected to the ankle, which is connected to the knee, which is very, very ticklish---"

Well, no one said it was going to be a terribly intelligent conversation.

The door was open.

"She's enjoying this a bit, isn't she?" Anakin said with a little laugh.

"Well, she just got to dress a little boy baby," Rory pointed out. "Now she gets to spoil a little girl, too."

"Who just happens to be the most brilliant baby currently in any galaxy," Anakin said in a completely unbiased way.

"Of course she is. And she has good taste in cookies," Rory decided.

Anakin laughed. "I think she's trying to share it," he said, looking down at the mess his shirt had become.
