Ye olde shuttle parking [mid-morning]

Anakin was sitting on the ramp of the shuttle, rereading the checklist he had made for his date with Rory tomorrow for the fiftieth time.

Force help the person or thing who might manage to mess up the schedule he'd planned out.

"The withholding kisses thing can only be used as a threat once per road trip," Anakin made up.

Rory pouted. "Fine, I have other cards to play."

"I like cookies and pie," Anakin offered helpfully as he punched the new coordinates into the hyperdrive's computer.

"I know lots of things you like," she commented lightly, stretching.

Anakin totally watched to see if her shirt rode up in interesting ways.

Ooh, midriff.

"What?" Rory asked, looking over at him.

Oooh, doofy smile.

"Nothing," he said, eyes shining.

"You're dorkfacing," she remarked. Look, Rory made a new word.

"That's not a word," Anakin commented, blushing, as he pulled the lever to launch them into hyperspace.

"It's descriptive," she smiled. "Awwwwww and now you're blushing. You're so cute."

Anakin blushed harder. "I'm not cute," he muttered.

"You're very cute," she replied, dorkfacing right back at him. "And adorable. And attractive. And sweet. And hot. And sexy. And...." She flushed dark red. That list had gotten away from her. "And...stuff."

Anakin unstrapped from his seat and reached out to run his knuckle down her cheek. "You're very...and stuff."

Anakin loses at being smooth.

"Are we good to go find a way to entertain ourselves?" she asked softly.

"I think I packed Monopoly," Anakin said, standing up and reaching for her hand.

No he hadn't.

"I'd hoped for Scrabble," she remarked, unstrapping and taking his hand.

He gave her a cheeky smile. "Maybe Twister?"

"Do we have room for Twister?" she wondered.

"I prefer my Twister a little cramped," Anakin said with a smirk.

"Funny, I'd figure a guy like you would want a little room to stretch out and show off," Rory replied.

"But then I don't have as much of an excuse to bump into you accidentally," Anakin said, leading them towards the rec room.

"But it's fun to watch you stretch," she replied, trailing after him.

Anakin had clearly never thought of that. "Really?"

Rory nodded, blushing. "...that's why you were dorkfacing at me earlier, isn't it?"
