After a phone call earlier, Anakin was running just a bit behind in meeting Rory for their lesson.

He took the stairs two at a time, looking around anxiously to see if she'd beaten him there.

Anakin's smile broadened as he put a friendly hand on her shoulder--with his fingers stopping for just a split second to ghost against the back of her neck--then headed into the cockpit.

"You're making it difficult," Rory murmured to herself, and followed him. That was when she saw the nebulae. "...oh, wow."

Anakin tore his eyes away from the view outside to give her a pleased grin. "You like it?"

"You always pick the good ones," she sighed.

His gaze lingered on her face for a moment. "I like to think so," he said softly.

Rory kept looking carefully out the window. "I'm so lucky. Most people never get to see this stuff."

"That's because most people don't have friends with spaceships," Anakin said with a nod. "I suppose we could take pictures or something..."

"No. Pictures won't do it justice," Rory said quietly.

"Well I'm not planning on opening a taxi service," Anakin teased softly, "so it'll just have to be something you and I share."

His entire face lit up when he smiled at her. "Me too."
