Office hours [all day]

After oh-so handwavily leaving messages for the students he'd been with over the weekend offering to listen if they needed a place to vent (and not leaving one for Max because he didn't really care how Max was doing), Anakin spent much of the morning scrubbing his office down with the dedication of a person who didn't want to be alone with their thoughts. The fact that it was freezing and dark in his office hadn't even occurred to him.

If he kept busy, maybe it wouldn't hurt so severely to realize that his weekly office visitor wouldn't be coming through the door ever again.

The door was open.
