Skywalker Apartment [Saturday afternoon and NFB]

Anakin and Rory's one year anniversary had been last Sunday, but between new students and kidnappings, neither of them had been in a mood to celebrate.

Okay, so Anakin had completely overreacted (not that he'd see it that way) and refused to let Rory out of bed for most of the week, just in case.

But this weekend was different! This weekend there were breakfasts in bed and baths with smelly things in it that Anakin pretended to merely tolerate, and a truly sugar-coma inducing array of endearments being dropped between the two of them.

And his students would hardly recognize him because Anakin didn't look five seconds from smacking the hell out of everyone. He looked content.

Marriage had been good for him.
