"Is it really so impossible to think it might have really been truth, Lord Vader?" Turtle asked, knowing completely well it was sarcasm, but he didn't need to know that.

...unless...The cracking knuckles intrigued her.

"...what would you do if it was sarcasm? Just out of curiousity, sir."

"And I weren't on this miserable excuse for a planet?" Vader stared off into space for a moment, reveling in the possibilities. "You'd be scrabbling desperately for air, a foot off the ground. Then you would no longer be my problem."

Dang it! No detention. Turtle tried to not look crestfallen, but the disappointment was pretty palpable.

"Good thing it wasn't sarcasm, then," she muttered.

"You would like to be killed?" Vader asked, sounding almost optimistic. "I could have you write that down. Perhaps Principal Washburn would allow me, then!"

Vader had a weird idea about what was fun.

"Well, no," Turtle frowned, definately giving Vader the 'you're crazy' eye. "I just wanted detention."

Vader never needed a reason to give a detention.
