After a quick trip to the Isle of Ikea to replace all of the broken glassware, Anakin's office was back to its normal state of cleanliness.

He turned on some soothing music from Ithor and waited to see how many students came in to see what he'd told their guardians.

The door was open.

Raven shook her head. "I did not see him," she said. "Or any other emissary of my father. At least none that revealed themselves to me. But I did not have any sort of feeling that I was being watched, nor did anyone tell me of any visitors asking questions about me."

"Then it sounds like a successful weekend," Anakin said with a smile, "if a little lonely."

"It was," Raven admitted. "I found myself envious of those who were excited to see their families."

[sith_happened]

"From some of the expressions I saw, that wasn't everyone," Anakin noted, "and you were not alone in not getting visitors, either."

[trigons_child]

"I know," Raven said, nodding. "I should not be so jealous. But I could not help but daydream about my mother coming to see me here and show her she did not have to be afraid."

Anakin sighed. "I know that kind of regret," he said softly. "There were many times I wished my mother had seen me in the Temple."

[trigons_child]

"She would have been proud of you," Raven said, managing a small smile. "As I hope my own mother would be."

[sith_happened]

"I know your mother would be," Anakin replied, smiling back at her, "and my mother always told me that the heart has infinite room for love. I think she would have loved to have met my children."

[trigons_child]

"And grandchildren," Raven said teasingly.

[sith_happened]

"Well, maybe a few of them, too," Anakin said. "If they're on their very best behavior."

[trigons_child]

"They are not always?" Raven said. Obviously, she didn't know them very well.

[sith_happened]

Anakin snorted. "Not exactly."
