The sun was beginning to go down and Anakin was finished with his office hours. It was time for a friendly spar with his alternate-universe son.

You know, as so many families do.

Ben had found a rock to sit on and observe, looking faintly embarrassed by the entire proceeding.

The Second Annual Skywalker Family Lightsaber Duel and Sulking Contest was about to begin.

"I don't know," Tahiri mused. "Luke's fought plenty of beings who thought they had something to prove against him. He's got lots of experience there."

"And my father has a lot of experience from the Clone Wars," Leia said. "Though that was some time ago for him." Watching them, they seemed pretty evenly matched, though.

"The Clone Wars aren't quite the same sort of experience as sparring another Jedi," Tahiri pointed out, possibly inaccurately; she wasn't as up on the details of that part of history as she could have been. "One thing's for certain, though, and that's between the two of them they'll definitely put on a show."

"I have to wonder if I'll even be nearly that good," Leia said. She glanced sideways at Tahiri. "Will I?"

Tahiri hesitated; she wasn't sure how to answer that, since her Leia was still an apprentice, and she certainly had no idea that in another fifteen years or so Leia would be able to beat her thoroughly.

"I can definitely say nobody with any sense knows to mess with you," she offered, which was entirely true.
