You know, just enjoying electricity.

"That's the darker side of having emotions," Anakin said.

"The side that Azar and my mother were afraid of," Raven agreed. "It is an easy trap to fall into."

"Very," Anakin said quietly.

"I envy those who have had all their lives to learn to deal with their emotions," Raven said wistfully. "I have only had a year."

"I dealt with emotions for nine years and then spent the next decade pretending not to have any," Anakin said a little wryly. "You're doing just fine."

"I am very pleased I came to Fandom to learn," Raven said. "I do not know if I would have fared as well in the 'real world' outside the island. I do not think people would be so understanding."
