"I was not certain you would be here this week since there were no classes," Raven said as she moved into the doorway.

Anakin smiled. "The people I advise aren't coming to me about the classes I teach," he said.

"I signed up for your class for the fall," Raven said shyly. "I am hopeful that I will be able to take it."

[sith_happened]

"I hope so too," Anakin said. "I enjoy hearing the students' perspectives every semester on my questions. It keeps me on my toes."

[trigons_child]

"What sort of questions do you ask?" Raven said. "Or should I be content to wait and see?"

[sith_happened]

"It would ruin the surprise of taking the class, wouldn't it?" Anakin teased.

[trigons_child]

"We must answer questions on the spot then, and not have time to prepare?" Raven said. She wasn't sure if that would make it easier or harder.

[sith_happened]

"There aren't necessarily right or wrong answers," he said. "I want you to go with your first instinct."

[trigons_child]

"I do not have much experience to draw upon," Raven said. "Do you think that will be an issue for me?"

[sith_happened]

"Not at all," Anakin said, shaking his head. "It's mostly hypothetical situations to get you to think about a response before you are just reacting in the heat of the moment."

[trigons_child]

"Will they be emotional situations?" Raven had to know. "My instincts are not what they should be, so I do not trust I will make the right decisions." She might be just a little nervous about that.

[sith_happened]

Anakin gave her a tiny smile. "That's why you'd learn," he said. "You can listen to the other students around you, as well. Decide if you agree with what they chose."

[trigons_child]

Raven nodded. "I think it will be very helpful for me," she agreed. "Both to hear what others say and to find my own answers. I am looking forward to the class."

[sith_happened]

"It's turned into something like a rite of passage at school, I think," Anakin said. "There are very few students I haven't taught."

[trigons_child]

"Then that is to their misfortune," Raven decided. "And it must bring you no small amount of pride to know that there is such competition for your classes."

[sith_happened]

Anakin smiled. "Maybe," he admitted.
