Anakin was in his office--or what was left of it, really--dragging bits of desk and chairs into a pile by the door.

He hadn't started taking the shrapnel out of the ceiling yet.

Stupid Jacen.

The door--with a big hole on it--was tilted open.

Ben, with one last look back at John who was waiting in the hallway, knocked carefully on what was left of the door.

"Hello?"

Anakin didn't bother to hide his relief in his Force-sense. "Ben. Come in. Take a --" he frowned. He didn't have seats any more, "spot of carpet," he finished somewhat lamely.

"What happened?" Ben asked, looking a little freaked out.

"Disagreement with one of our visitors this weekend," Anakin said, keeping things vague.

He locked his eyes onto his grandson. "You have something you want to say?" he asked quietly.

"Was the visitor Jacen?" Ben whispered.

Anakin sat down on the floor and motioned for Ben to join him. "Why would you think it's Jacen?" he asked.

Ben sat down and curled himself into his robes, resembling a little brown rock. "You're going to be mad," he said, almost too softly to be heard.

"It's probably not that big of a deal anyway," Ben said. "Some kind of misunderstanding. I don't need to bother you with it."

As far as Zoe was concerned, the offices of the teachers were their own space, and they could do whatever they wanted inside.

There was, however, a line that had to be drawn somewhere, and Zoe was pretty sure that a large hole in the door was it. Before she went to her own office, she stood at the door, and peered at Anakin through the hole.

"Was there a tiny tornado in the building and I missed it?" Zoe asked, slipping inside carefully.

"They go like this when they turn out to be enormous fuckwits, yes," Anakin said with a nod. "I'm fine. He won't be returning."

"I think it encourages people to look in on you even when you might not want them to," Zoe said. "You're not exactly working with a lot of privacy here."
