Anakin walked into the room, dropped their shared suitcase into the corner of the room and stretched out on the bed.

"Am I older? I feel older," he said, looking over at Rory. "We were in that car for roughly eighty billion years."

"Or a few hours," she corrected, rolling her eyes, going to turn all the lights on.

"Or that," Anakin agreed, blinking as he got a good look at the room. "I've got to find a job that makes more money," he said, blushing. "I'm sorry."

"What? Why?" Rory asked, blinking. "Ooh, look, we have pay-per-view!"

"Like in New York!" Anakin said, grinning. "And then we can turn off the lights and pretend that painting with the kittens isn't staring at us."

He frowned. "Speaking of which, have you met our temporary new overlord?"

"Not yet," she said, raising her eyebrows and hopping onto the bed with the remote. "Was she as bad as the announcement would suggest?"

"She called me 'young man'," Anakin said, deeply offended, "then decided that only she would get to use master as her title. I think 'heinous bitch' would not be completely out of bounds."

Rory stared. "...well, you are a young man, honey."

"It was in a tone that implied the rest of the sentence was supposed to be 'young man come here and let me wipe your nose,'" Anakin said, frowning hard. "I'm not a student. I don't look like a student. And I certainly shouldn't be treated like an especially dim specimen of one."

"...what's wrong with her?" Rory wondered, narrowing her eyes. She started flipping through the pay-per-view. "Want to watch a movie? No porn."

"Why no porn?" Anakin asked, rolling up on his side to look at her. "Is it bad porn?"

Anakin was easily distracted these days.

"Of course it is. It's porn," Rory said, frowning at him.

Anakin tried to reach for the remote, eyes sparkling. "Can we see how bad it is? Maybe this is a shining example of plot development and witty dialogue."

Rory rolled her eyes. "Just remember I'm all real and they are not."

Anakin's expression turned doofy. "I know you are," he said quietly. "What else is on?"

"No, no, you want to see...Hannah Does Her Sisters. Or maybe Boob Wars III: Invasion of the D-Cups?" She shot him a sidelong look. "That one better not be something you want to see, because at the end of the day you're coming back to a B." She went back to flipping. "Ooh, Trouser Snakes on a Plane."

Anakin kissed her on the cheek. "I love your Bs," he said, smiling, "though I think of them more as As."

No one had ever explained bra sizes to him, no.

Rory stared at him.

"I said something wrong, didn't I?" he asked, looking a little crushed.

"As are smaller," Rory said gently. "It goes A, B," she pointed at herself, "C, D," she pointed at the television, "and then into double D and ridiculous sizes."

Anakin curled himself around her and cuddled close. "I only meant that you always wanted to get As and I accidentally insulted you and I need you and whatever cup you are and why are they called cups?"

He paused. "I'm babbling. Sorry."

"...because they cup," she replied, laughing. "You don't pay a lot of attention to my bras, do you?"

"Sure I do," Anakin protested, hitching up her shirt a little. "I'm just slightly more interested in what they're hiding from me."

"As you should be," Rory replied, kissing his neck. "But no, B isn't a grade, it's just my...size."

Anakin moved her shirt up a little higher. "Are you sure? I can check for you..."

"You wouldn't rather to watch the dirty movies?" she murmured, grinning. "Though we might catch something from the bed."
