OOC: All about New and Improved Anakin: Now 95 percent less evil!
Okay, so the OOC warnings about Vader are obviously not important now...
Anakin is back. Visually, he looks 24--the age he was before he turned all tall, dark and mouth breathy. Internally, he's 42, and he remembers everything he's been up to in those intervening years.
That pain is more than a little obvious in his eyes, and you psychic types will be able to pick up on that, but he's got his mental blocks up very, very high, so understanding exactly what's eating at him isn't going to be that easy.
Which brings us to Anakin's Force power--he's the Chosen One, he's fully trained, and he's got all of his limbs. So he's not going to be someone to disregard in terms of power, though obviously at this particular time he's not going to exactly be jumping towards using his mad Jedi skillz. He doesn't feel worthy, et cetera, blah blah.
He will be replacing Vader as the Ethics teacher (and mentor to Turtle, Dean, Katara and Jamie, God help us) and will not really be big on explaining how that happened. To old friends who ask how he ended back in Fandom, he will come up with some kind of random time-traveling story about meeting up with Luke and defeating Vader together.
And yeah, Luke is fully aware that time travel doesn't exist in theircanon universe, but he's not going to call his father on it.
As Anakin gets more comfortable with exactly what he was (read: as the guilt starts to eat at him), he will come clean to very close friends first, then others.
The nice way about how this plot unfolded (and I'd pretend it was all according to my master design, but I'm not that smart) is that various characters have varying levels of awareness as to what happened: one group knows he was dead, others just know he went away, and a whole class doesn't care at all and can remain trauma free.
That being said, if you want your character to eventually hear the whole story, give me a holler. I have an internal list going of people Anakin will have to tell soon, but I'm sure I've forgotten someone.
And Anakin did terrible, terrible things. He's fully expecting people to hate him forever when they discover what he's done. If that would be the IC response for your character (and honestly, he blew up a planet. I'd be pissed.), please, please go with it. He deserves to be hated. That's why he's back--that whole atonement thing.
So...questions, comments, pie?

So he completely remembers everything?
What's he going to do about Schro? I mean, he's got a whole lot of knowledge about Schro. Possibly enough to compromise him.
