Anakin was in his office with nary a skinny jean, obnoxious t-shirt, weirdly complicated coffee or manbun to be seen.

He might never drink a fancy coffee again.

He snuggled happily into his Jedi robes as he went through student paperwork only to have his comm go off.

Hoping that it wasn't Ahsoka (wow had THAT been awkward...), he picked up. "Skywalker."

"MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU!"

"Ben, why."

"Because it's funny every year, Granddad."

"It's really not," Anakin said.

"Sure it is," Ben said. "Have a good day."

Most of her memories of the past few days were an indistinct and confusing blur, but that stood out in perfect clarity.

I was very dramatic about it. Taught them stage fighting.

It seemed polite, both from a 'thank you for the advice' standpoint and a 'hello, there's a Sith on the island again' standpoint, for Lana to drop by, so here she was.

Still dressed in armour, because she hadn't had a chance to shop for Earth clothes yet. At least it was insanely conservative by Sith standards?

"Dean Skywalker, hello."

Anakin frowned lightly. "Lana?"

"In the considerably older than expected flesh," Lana said smiling. "Well, I'm as old as I expected, but everybody else is so much younger! It's been quite a while for me. The last we spoke was..." she paused to calculate, "four or five years ago?"

"It hasn't been that long for me," Anakin said with a dry smile.

"So I'd gathered." Her smile matched his. "Thank you, by the way. The advice did help. We even managed to take down Zakuul. So now it's on to trying to build our own...well, everything. This is a networking and learning opportunity as much as it's a chance to see this place again."

"I'm not sure what kind of network you'll be able to build," Anakin said.

He wasn't going to be "yay Sith" about anything, well, ever again.

Lana chuckled. "Honestly, anything I can. We're a fairly small group, and we're trying to hold our own against both the Empire and the Republic. Anyone that knows anything from high-yield agriculture to battle tactics would be good to know."

She gave him a wry smile. "And I won't deny that anything we could learn from your history that would help in our future would be welcome. Some of our more unscrupulous allies have even suggested using it to play the Hutts' stocks."

Anakin wrinkled his nose up at that suggestion. "Definitely not that."
