Office hours [Tuesday, February 20, all day]

Vader was in his office carefully working on a list of everyone to kill who might possibly be responsible for this weekend, then anyone who might have seen him.

The only reason he wasn't hiding under his desk was because he couldn't fit.

The door was very much closed.

Dean knocked on the door. Hopefully he could get through another mentoring session without getting detention again.

"Go away," Vader boomed.

He didn't actually think that would work.

"I don't think this whole mentor thing works that way," Dean said, opening the door and coming in.

"It should," Vader decided. "Did you bring tribute?"

Maybe the whole mentor thing worked that way.

Aeryn knew even this weekend that this was going to be weird, but she knocks on the door anyway.

Vader contemplated trying to stuff himself under the desk.

"Come in," he said after a long, long pause.

If Aeryn takes a second to open the door, it's because she'strying to wipe off the smile that just showed up on her face. Calm again, she steps inside. "Hi," she says.

"Cookies are overrated," Vader said flatly.

She had time to kill. And maybe a death wish. So a beaming Turtle came knocking on her most favouritest mentor in the world's door.

"I don't give a damn how you are doing, so...yes," Vader decided.

Rory was giggling when she knocked on the door, but she abruptly shut up and composed herself in case it opened.

"Because I don't fit under my desk."

Katara wasn't sure if she was supposed to come see her mentor today, but she wasn't sure if not showing up was better or worse than the other way round. So she knocked on the door.

"What now?" Vader boomed.

"If you don't want to mentor today, I can go away," Katara said hopefully.

That was really, really tempting.

"Come in," Vader said sulkily.

Jamie limped in to Vader's office. "Hey your lordshippy mentor-ship. Ready to be mentored. Which was really apparent in my first sentence."

At least Jamie was in pain.

Who said Vader didn't view the glass as half full?

"Don't get kicked," Vader said flatly.
