Darth Buckethead, still wearing his bucket, pressed his hands up against the window and sighed.

He wanted to go out and play, but he couldn't find his robe.

Life was very hard.

Looking around quickly for Logan, he darted back to the phone and began to entertain himself by leaving messages again.

Whee, crank calls!

Aeryn manages not to trip over any children on her way to Vader's house. Which is weird enough on its own.

Hoping he knows how to answer the door at whatever age he is, she knocks on the door. Because she's never heard of a doorbell.

Throwing the phone down, he raced to the door.

Standing up on his tiptoes, he pulled the door open. "Ryn!" he cried from under the bucket on his head, then launched himself at her knees.

Oh, this is weird. "Hi," she says, looking down and after a moment's hesitation, patted him on the bucket.

He tipped the bucket off of his face, bright blue eyes staring up at her. "I missed you!"

More words she never thought she'd hear him say. "I missed you, too," she says. "Thank you for the message."

"Wanna play Jedi and spacepirates?" he asked. "I wanna go outside but it's coooooooold."

"Yes, much too cold out there," she says. Not to mention people might actually recognize him out there. "I've never played that game before."

"I'll be the Jedi with a lightsaber who can never ever die ever and you can be the evil space pirate," he informed her. "And I'll try to stop you!"

"Um. All right," she says slowly, standing. She has no idea what she's doing.

Wade hadn't even gotten the phone call, that would imply using the phone for things other than throwing at Aly. He just went to see Vady.

Knocking loudly on the door and ringing the doorbell a few dozen times, Wade shouted, "VADY!"

Someone else his own age! Sort of! Yay!!

Buckethead jumped up and down, the green pail over his eyes bouncing. "Hi hi hi hi hi!!!"

"You got a bucket on your head."

Wade was still the master of the obvious.

"I'm being a superhero," he explained. "So I'm hiding my ident...thing."

Wade shrugged. "Okay!" He poked at the bucket. "Does it work?"

"It's kind of hard to see walls," Buckethead said, "but that's okay."

"Maybe if you put eyeholes in it," Wade suggested, leaning to the side as he looked at the bucket more closely.

He shrugged and pulled the bucket up. A blond haired, blue eyed little boy peered out. "It's Friday's bucket," he said. "I don't want to mess it up."

Jamie decided since his mentor was so kind as to leave him a message telling him to drop by his office that dropping by his house was just as good.

Of course he just got back from Canada recently so the whole adults being kids thing wasn't known to him.

He knocked on the door and poked his head in. "Darth Vader? You're lordshipness?"

A tiny person wearing a green bucket over his head raced over.

"Poo-doo head!" he cried, then aimed a kick at Jamie's shin.

And now there were two Jamies. "OW! What the hell?"

The boy under the bucket was just as confused.

"What the hell?" he repeated in a high-pitched piping voice.

"Don't swear!" Jamie admonished. "Why did you kick me?"

"Because you're a poo-poo head!" Buckethead informed him.

There was a pause. "Both of you are."

Another pause. "How'd you do that?"

"Whenever I get hit and I'm not prepared for it I duplicate," Jamie said rubbing his shins and absorbing the other duplicate. "And I'm not a poo-poo head!"

"Yuh-huh!" the little boy insisted, stomping his wee foot.
