Outside the Danger Shop [Saturday afternoon]

Anakin had been off-island last night, so he didn't even realize anything weird had happened as he made his way across the island to meet Jaina at the Danger Shop for a round of enhanced shooting like he'd promised her last night.

He was kind of hoping she'd brought caf with her, especially since she seemed to be running slightly behind...

Jaina was here.

Jaina was also very small, standing outside the Danger Shop in a spot where she thought she could be seen and wouldn't get stepped on, waving.

Waving in a very annoyied fashion. Could a wave say "ugh"?

Anakin could feel her presence through the Force and he frowned in concentration, then slowly looked down, down, dooooown.

"Jaina?!"

"Why do I come back here!" she asked.

Well, yelled, more like. She was tiny.

Tinier.

"Did you eat something weird?" Anakin asked. "Pick a fight with a wizard on your way back from the bar?"

He knelt down and held his hand out for Jaina to step onto.

"It's Fandom being weird!" she said, frowning at his hand. "This is humiliating."

"You're adorable," Anakin said, grinning. "Can I take a picture to send to Jag?"

[solo_sword]

"No!" she yelled.

She could not stop him.

"But he'll love it!" Anakin said, getting out his comlink.

"Grandfather! This is not as funny as you think it is!"

"Oh, you're really wrong," Anakin said, taking a picture and sending it to Jag.

And Rory. Because ahahahhahahaha.

Jaina folded her arms over her chest and glared at him.

Anakin took another picture because he was a terrible human being.

"Bye, Grandfather! It was nice seeing you yesterday!" Jaina said, turning on her heel to start off back towards the hotel.

Not quickly. Because she was teeny. Super easy to... catch up to?

Yeah, that took about...a step. "Well, shooting is probably out, but I can modify the obstacle course for your new size?"

That was an apology if you squinted really, really hard? Kind of?

Jaina stopped, and spun around, arms still crossed. "I'm listening."

"Lots of explosions and things to climb?" Anakin wheedled.

[solo_sword]

"All right," she said, dropping her arms. "I'm in. I might need the experience this weekend."

She dared him to make a comment about climbing things.

"I'll put in a lot of table legs."

ANAKIN.

"I'm kicking your ass when I'm normal," Jaina warned.

[sith_happened]

"I'll definitely be waiting for that," Anakin said, heading over to the console to redo the obstacle course. "Table legs, not falling into coffee mugs, avoiding giant squirrels?" he offered.

[solo_sword]

"That's kind of my life this weekend, but okay," she grumped.

[sith_happened]

"So this is good practice," Anakin said. "Better to screw up in here than get abducted by a squirrel for the rest of the weekend."

[solo_sword]

"I would not get abducted by a squirrel," Jaina insisted. "I could still take out a squirrel."

[sith_happened]

"It's twice your size," Anakin commented.

[solo_sword]

"So are a bunch of people I've totally taken out," Jaina returned.

[sith_happened]

"Fair enough," Anakin said, programming a few more squirrels into the simulation just to be a jerk. "Okay, it's all ready to go."

[solo_sword]

"Thank you," she said. "You're still not funny."

She hadn't thought beating up squirrels would be part of her day, and yet.

"I'm a little funny," Anakin said. "I'm not making you run through a maze."

[solo_sword]

"You're not making me do anything." She was here willingly! And tinily!

"I'll give you cheese at the end."
