Today's class was in the Danger Shop. Anakin was holding up a bright yellow nerf bat. "Sometimes in sticky situations, you'll be tempted to conduct...aggressive negotiations," he said.
"When preparing yourself for troublesome or tense negotiations, it can be helpful to... dispose of those urges," Obi-Wan said. "Today, we have some suggestions."
Like the nerf bats.
There were also large, heavy bags to hit. Possibly with the nerf bats.
Or just your fists. Anakin could respect just hitting things. "Self-defense is also important, at least in the kinds of negotiations Jedi are set to conduct. A lot of people try to kill the messenger."
"We are not here to teach you how to fight," Obi-Wan said lightly. "But we are here to teach you how to channel your more impulsive orders." Beat. "There are also stress balls. I hear sometimes those help."
Anakin slanted his eyes at Obi-Wan. "Help who, Master?"
"People," Obi-Wan said.
Beatifically.
Anakin poked him with his nerf bat. "Sure."
"Let's set this aside and ask the class to please find a method of stress relief that is most appealing to them," Obi-Wan said, using the Force behind his back to shove Anakin's hood up.
"Good idea," Anakin said, smacking Obi-Wan again. This could take a while, kids. Get to your activity.

It took a lot to get her to hitting mode. She'd actually only gotten to that point one time, and that was when her mother had been stolen from her and her entire planet invaded by hostile aliens who refused to understand that stealing a person's mother was a terrible thing. And it hadn't been like there'd been any form or style to her hitting, then, just kind of wild flailing with fists.
She reached out and slowly pressed her knuckles against the bag, making it sway back and forth. No, she wasn't much in hitting mode at all. But readdressing all those post cards yesterday had left her with at least some stress and anxiety that could use working out.
". . . Do you have anything for, like, primal screaming?"

He went over to the controls and after a few minutes of programming, a door appeared next to the wall. "Here you go. One soundproof room without locks, so you don't get stuck."

A soundproof room wouldn't give her looks for not pardoning her own language!

And considered the heavy bag, which was hanging a bit out of her reach.
She suspected that perhaps the intention there was to annoy her further, so she took one of the bat and, with a mighty swing up over her head, she biffed at the bag with it a few times.
That'd show it.
