It was a very thankful Anakin who found Juliet back to her normal tiny self on Monday (though with a stubborn insistence on having an X-Wing that wouldn't. go. away).

He arrived in his office as usual, sent the photos he'd taken of a very pregnant Isabel to her over email, grinned a little evilly to himself and prepared to help students wade their way through the fallout of another weekend of Fandom weird.

There was no question at all that Jaina was coming by today.

"That was weird," she announced.

"Yeah, this weekend was a solid nine on the what the hell scale," Anakin agreed. "You remember it all?"

She took her usual seat, waving her hand in the international sign for "so-so." "You know when you wake up from a dream, and you remember what happened, but not enough of the details for it all to make sense?"

Anakin nodded. "Probably better that way," he said.

[solo_sword]

"Easy for you to say. I want to know how I got from here to there," Jaina frowned. "Empress? Really?"

"Thank you," Anakin said. "It seemed a little insane to me too."

In case she had forgot his capslocks.

"And even more insane is the fact that it really seemed to be a good thing," she went on. "But there's no Emperor now. Something big had to have happened for that outcome to come to pass, and I can't even begin to imagine what, and that makes me a little crazy when I might be a few years off from another war."

"You didn't give me much in the way of a history lesson," Anakin said apologetically.

[solo_sword]

"Let this be a lesson to future me to overshare everything," she grumbled. "And I'm a little worried. One of my kids from this weekend was the same one who showed up here before. That's too big a coincidence for me to think there's not something to it."

Raven had a lot on her mind, from what had happened in Rinoa's home to the past weekend, when she arrived at Anakin's office door that morning. "Good morning, Professor Skywalker," she said.

She was still working on processing what he had told her two weeks ago. She really needed to track down Tahiri or Ben and talk to hem about it.

"Good morning," Anakin said, waving her to her usual seat. "Busy few weeks?"

Raven nodded as she sat down. "I am sorry I was not here last week," she said. "But Rinoa needed my aid -- have you spoken to her recently? She should be troubled by the sorceress from her world no more."

"I got a little bit of the story before the weekend took over and LJ sucked like a hoover," Anakin said with a nod. "How did you help?"

"I was there to support Rinoa and Squall, and I was able to teleport us to Ultimecia by following her connection to Rinoa," Raven said.

She paused and looked down at her lap, biting at her lip. "But my demon side manifested when I thought Jono had been killed. I do not struggle with it as I did before my father was destroyed, but it is still there, there is no doubt of that."

Anakin sighed a little heavily. "You have to work harder on overcoming that instinct," he lectured.

"I have not lost control like that since my return to life," Raven said, chastised. "Though I came close when my brothers attempted to provoke me."

She looked back up with a frown. "I became very sick afterward, and I am uncertain why," she said.

"Sick how?" Anakin asked. "Headaches, vomiting--?" Creepily glowing yellow eyes might have just been him.

The phone! The phone was ringing!!

Yes, Isabel had gotten Anakin's email.

For some reason, Anakin found himself humming the Wonderpets' theme song...

"Skywalker," he replied, picking up the comlink.

He has a preschooler. It's an immediate response when the phone rings.

"Hi, It's Isabel," she said. "Please tell me you were playing with Photoshop and sent me this as some sort of delayed April Fool's joke."

He chuckled. "You don't remember the weekend, then."

Isabel sighed. "I was hoping it was just a really, really elaborate dream."

"So are a lot of people," Anakin said sympathetically. "I think half of the school was hiding under their beds yesterday."

"The thought crossed my mind. Except I had three classes to get to. And unfortunately my professors wouldn't buy residual weekend angst as a reason to miss class, " Because even though she'd woken up with the right person it was still kind of awkward when you had roughly seventeen years of future memories clouding your head and while most of them were good, there was a five year stretch of stupidity that Isabel was having a hard time facing up to.

"Nor will the ones here," Anakin said with a quick laugh.
