Office hours [all day]
It was days like today where Anakin stopped being a Jedi, used to ignoring weather situations, and became the whiny kid from the desert who didn't like being cold. Rory, who grew up in Connecticut, would have been ashamed of the mostly one-sided conversation he was having with their daughter about the evils of cold, snow, ice, and the drivers in Washington, DC forced to deal with them.
He put Juliet down on the floor with a couple of toys he'd designed for Force-sensitive children (though she seemed more interested in picking up the dirt she was finding there), turned on some soothing music, and closed his door.
He didn't want to spend the entire day playing "chase Juliet down the hallway" if he could avoid it.

She knocked on the door and waited for permission to enter.

"She's still not great with people who are new," Anakin said apologetically. "Have a seat!"

"You must have missed her while you were stranded on the island last week," she said.

She knocked on the door, only realizing after she had that he might very well be out of the office on his lunch break. She'd have to hope she hadn't missed him.

She had to lean over and greet the little one first, naturally. "Hi, you," she said. "Are you helping today?"
Oh, she was adorable.
"Is ... it a bad time?" she asked, glancing up at her teacher. "I don't want to interrupt."

"Hi, Juliet," she said. "You have a very pretty name."
She tried to process the rest of that, and frowned. "So when we couldn't even call off-island ... you were stuck here? And couldn't reach her?"
That sounded awful. Everything in danger, and you couldn't even tell your spouse you were okay.

"I couldn't," Anakin said, "and then I turned into a cat," yes, he sounded annoyed, "and texting wasn't high on my list of skills. My wife graduated from here and knows the island's rhythms. I'm just in trouble because it was during her last final exam period."

It wouldn't be his fault, obviously, but wow, how frustrating for her.
She hesitated before carefully taking a seat. "I won't keep you," she said. "I just wanted to thank you. For last week. I slept."

So, using her mad stealth skills, she was slowly opening the door so an attack could be implemented.
...look, Deadpool wasn't the best influence. But everyone knew that.

Ambush, something...

Jan shushed her a little too loud for this attack to go off without Anakin being any wiser as to what happened. Because, as we all know, Anakin Skywalker needed a small child to keep him in the know.

Launch a sneaky ambush, play, it was hard to tell with these kids.

Jan grinned in that too wide manner that threatened to break her face before pulling out the toy gun and aiming at at him. "Hi, mister Skywalker," she said, trying to be careful at pronouncing things.

She giggled and fired at his head. "BOOM! Headshot!" And then promptly fled the room.
