Anakin leaned over Rory to check the clock and let out a chuckle before pulling the covers back up. "We still have a few hours until Juliet needs to get picked up from day care," he said. "Any ideas what we should do?"

"I have lots of ideas," Rory said, smiling at him. And thankfully, that was phrased so that she was honest, but not oversharing.

Not that that would last.

"Such as?" Anakin prompted, leaning in to kiss her neck.

"I'm pretty hungry," she admitted.

...probably not the answer he wanted.

Anakin burst out laughing. "I love you," he said. "Real food? I'm guessing the thing with the whipped cream didn't count."

"I mean, I barely ate any," Rory said, grinning at him.

He grinned back. "I don't remember you complaining at the time," he said, "after I put down the old sheets."

"I don't complain about things that win me multiple orgasms."

That...was more than she would usually say without prompting. Interesting. She blushed a bit.

He nipped at her collarbone before giving her a smug look. "The neighbors might," he teased.

"They can bite me. But not like how you like to," she replied.

"I like seeing where I've been," he said, then frowned lightly. That was a little more forthright than he generally was. "Cold pizza sound good? I think there's leftovers."

Rory was arching a brow as she stared at him. "That's fine. You know I'll eat anything this side of packing peanuts."

"Oh, if you leave me alone for a night, I eat Cocoa Puffs straight out of the box," Anakin said, "and wash it down with cold coffee."

He blinked.

"I didn't want to say that."

"It's quite an image, though," she admitted.

"I swear I can take care of myself," he said, leaning in to kiss her. "I'm just better when you're around."

"I'm pretty sure that's what Mom eats most days Luke doesn't make her sit down," Rory offered, grinning. "Except her coffee's always warm."

"I don't like microwaved coffee," Anakin said, "especially if it's been hanging out in the pot for a few hours." He grinned and kissed her nose. "I'll be right back," he promised before wandering into the kitchen without a stitch on.

Rory sighed after him, tilting her head to admire the view. "You have such a cute ass," she said, loud enough for her voice to carry, and then blushed dark red before curling up a little under the blankets. "...something's wrong with today!" she added.

He was laughing when he came back into the room with pizza on a plate. "Well, I certainly worked hard enough to make it like that," he said. "I'm glad you enjoy it."

"I enjoy your whole body," she sighed happily, reaching out to touch his abs. "All the other moms at Mommy and Me think I have the hottest husband. True fact. I heard them talking."

Rory needed to stop talking.

"Yes but don't let it go to your head," she said, slinking lower below the covers. "I think today is broken."

He laughed. "You think? I've been pretty happy with it so far."

"I keep saying things," Rory said, peeking at him. "Ooh, pizza. Screw hiding, you brought food."
